2. What this site provides
The site publishes free educational material about AI search for local businesses, including:

3. Cost
The course is free. There is no paywall, no gated download and no account. We do not charge for access and we do not process payments on this site.
4. No guarantee of results
Nothing here guarantees that an AI assistant will name, cite or recommend your business. Search engines and AI assistants change their behaviour on their own schedule, and no publisher controls that. The material is educational and is offered without warranty of any kind. Decisions you make about your own site, profile or listings are yours.
5. Accuracy and dating
Every claim on this site is sourced and dated under the editorial policy, and the curriculum is reviewed at least monthly. Even so, AI search moves quickly, and something accurate when written may be out of date when you read it. Check the updated date on the page and tell us if something has changed.
6. Disclosed relationships
LocusPilot, an AI website builder for local businesses, publishes this course and is used as an example in Lesson 5. The AI SEO Rainmakers link on the homepage and in Lesson 8 is a Skool referral link to a paid community run by Charles Floate. Both are disclosed wherever they appear. No SEO software vendor sponsors this site.
7. Use of the material
You may read, share and quote from the lessons with attribution and a link back to the page you took the quote from. You may not republish a full lesson, sell the material, or present it as your own work without written permission. Code examples, including JSON-LD blocks, are provided for you to adapt and use on your own site.
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and layout of this site belong to LocusPilot. Third party names such as Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude belong to their respective owners and are used here descriptively.
9. Third-party links
The lessons link to external documentation, tools and communities. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, LocusPilot is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from acting on its material.

We may update these terms. The updated date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes are noted on the changelog.
